Ensure the area where you'll apply the tape is clean and free from dust, oil, and debris. Use a cleaning solution and a soft cloth or brush to thoroughly clean the surface.
Measure the required length of the tape for the area you’re covering. Cut the tape to the desired length using scissors or a utility knife.
Peel off the PET-liner from the tape to expose the adhesive. Carefully position the tape on the surface, starting from one end and gradually pressing it down as you go. Make sure to smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles.
For irregular surfaces, press the tape firmly around edges and contours to ensure it conforms well and adheres properly.
Press down firmly along the entire length of the tape to make sure the acrylic adhesive bonds strongly to the surface. The mineral particles on the aluminum carrier provide excellent grip and safe footing.
If you’re using the black-yellow or yellow tape, ensure it’s highly visible for safety and warning purposes. This is especially useful for areas with safety concerns or to complement 5S manufacturing initiatives.
You’re all set for a safer, slip-free environment! 🦺
